A AN ACT FOR GRANTING TO HER MAJESTY CERTAIN
SUMS OF MONEY FOR DEFRAYING CERTAIN EXPENSES OF THE PUBLIC SERVICE FOR THE
FINANCIAL YEAR ENDING MARCH 31, 2016 Analysis 1. Short title 2. Further supply 2015-2016 3. Effect of authorization 4. Transfer of funds Schedule WHEREAS
it appears that the sums mentioned are required to defray certain expenses of
the Public Service of Newfoundland and Be it enacted by the Lieutenant-Governor and House of Assembly in Legislative Session convened, as follows: Short title 1. This Act may be cited as the Supply Act, 2015. Further supply 2015-2016 2. From and out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund there may be issued by the Minister of Finance and President of Treasury Board sums not exceeding $4,757,760,300 in addition to the sum of $2,784,047,800 authorized by the Interim Supply Act, 2015 the aggregate of the sums authorized to be issued under this Act and the Interim Supply Act, 2015 being $7,541,808,100. Effect of authorization 3. The sums authorized to be issued by this Act as set out in the Schedule shall be paid and applied by the several heads of expenditure in respect of the financial year extending from April 1, 2015 to March 31, 2016 towards defraying the charges and expenses of the Public Service of Newfoundland and Labrador as set out in the Schedule. Transfer of funds 4. (1) Notwithstanding the Financial Administration Act, the
Treasury Board may transfer sums voted within the Department of Finance, 1.3.01
- Government Personnel Costs, to another Head of Expenditure during the fiscal
year ending March 31, 2016, to facilitate expenditures for compensation,
benefits and other associated adjustments. (2) Notwithstanding
the Financial Administration Act, the
Treasury Board may transfer sums voted within Consolidated Fund Services,
2.1.02 - Ex-Gratia and other Payments, to another Head of Expenditure during
the fiscal year ending March 31, 2016, to facilitate expenditures for special
retirement and other payments. (3) Notwithstanding
the Financial Administration Act, the
Treasury Board may transfer sums voted within one Head of Expenditure to
another Head of Expenditure during the fiscal year ending March 31, 2016, to
facilitate expenditures for Financial Assistance, 2.1.04 and 2.1.05, voted
within the Department of Finance. (4) Notwithstanding
the Financial Administration Act, the
Treasury Board may transfer sums voted within one Head of Expenditure to the
Department of Finance - Economics and Statistical Branch, 2.3.01 - Economics
and 2.3.02 - Statistics, during the fiscal year ending March 31, 2016, for the
provision of economics and statistical services. Schedule
