Under the authority of section 13 of the Mortgage Brokers Act, the Lieutenant‑Governor makes the following regulation.

1. (1) Subsection 3(1) of the Mortgage Brokers Regulations is amended by deleting the words "or renewal of registration".

(2) Subsection 3(2) is repealed and the following substituted:

(2) A registration remains in effect subject to the filing of annual reports and payment of an annual fee as prescribed by the minister until it is withdrawn by the registered person or is suspended or cancelled under the Act.
