Under the authority of section 2.1 of the Young Offenders Act <W0>(Canada) and paragraph 2(d) of the Young Persons Offences Act, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council makes the following Order.

        1. The Consolidated Young Offenders Act (Canada) Order is amended by adding the following:

The Director of Child Welfare appointed under the Child Welfare Act is designated as a provincial director for the purpose of the Young Offenders Act (Canada)and the Young Persons Offences Act.
