Newfoundland Regulation 2001 Small Claims Rules (Filed Under the authority of section 7 of the Small Claims Act, the Rules Committee makes the following rules. Dated at Donald S. Luther
Mary J. (McCarthy) Mandville Tobias McDonald RULES Analysis 1. Rule 21 Amdt. 2. Rule 22(1)(b) R&S NR 52/97 1. (1) Rule 21(1)(b) of the Small Claims Rules is repealed and the following substituted: (b) by
mailing a copy to the defendant at his or her last known address and obtaining
a signed document acknowledging receipt. (2) Rule 21(2)(a) of the rules is repealed and the following substituted: (a) mailing
a copy of it to the registered office of the corporation and obtaining a signed
document acknowledging receipt; or (3) Rule 21(3)(a) of the rules is repealed and the following substituted: (a) by
mailing a copy of it to the attorney of the corporation appointed under the Corporations Act and obtaining a signed
document acknowledging receipt; (4) Rule 21(4)(a) of the rules is repealed and the following substituted: (a)
mailing a copy of it to a partner and obtaining a signed document acknowledging
receipt; or (5) Rule 21(5)(a) of the rules is repealed and the following substituted: (a) mailing
a copy of it to the office of the municipality or local service district and
obtaining a signed document acknowledging receipt; or (6) Rule 21(6)(a) of the rules is repealed and the following substituted: (a) mailing
a copy of the document to his or her last known address and to the next friend,
and obtaining a signed document acknowledging receipt; or (7) Rule 21(7)(a) of the rules is repealed and the following substituted: (a) by
mailing a copy of it to the registered office of the association and obtaining
a signed document acknowledging receipt; or 2. Rule 22(1)(b) of the rules is repealed and the following substituted: (b) for service by mail, a certificate of service in Form 4 accompanied by (i) a signed document acknowledging receipt, and (ii) a copy of the document that was served; or ©Earl G.
