Under the authority of section 31 of the Collections Act, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council makes the following regulations.

1. Section 3 of the Collections Regulations is repealed and the following substituted:

The registration provisions of the Act do not apply to a non-profit or charitable organization or its employees engaged in pro-rating of debts, collecting and disbursing of money to creditors on behalf of debtors to whom the organization or its employees are providing credit and budget counselling.
