Supreme Court Fees Regulations
under the
Judicature Act
(O.C. 2007-353)

Under the authority of subsection 55(2) of the Judicature Act, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council makes the following regulations.

Schedule


Short title

        1. These regulations may be cited as the Supreme Court Fees Regulations.

Fees

        2. A person shall pay to the registrar of the Supreme Court the fee listed in the Schedule for the service set out opposite the fee.

        3. Rule 55, Appendix, paragraph J of the Rules of the Supreme Court, 1986 is repealed.


Schedule

J. - FEES TO BE TAKEN BY THE REGISTRAR

1.

For Letters of guardianship, administration of goods not administered, administration of a shared legacy, or other second or subsequent letters for the estate of a deceased person

For every exemplification of probate or letters of administration

For making copies of any will, pleading, affidavit or other document in the Registry, at the rate of $0.25 for every page or a part of a page. (Except that the Registrar may provide free of charge copies of the reasons for an order or judgment filed in a matter to every party to the matter; to publishers, law schools or other educational institutions whose primary objective is the dissemination of legal information; to courts and to those other persons or institutions the Registrar considers appropriate)
