Under the authority of section 111 of the Environmental Protection Act, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council makes the following regulations.

1. Subsection 4(2) of the Heating Oil Storage Tank System Regulations, 2003 is repealed and the following substituted:

(2) This section shall come into force on August 1, 2009.

2. Subsection 6(1) of the regulations is repealed and the following substituted:

6. (1) On or before July 31, 2009, the owner of an existing system shall register the system.

3. Paragraph 13(1)(b) of the regulations is amended by deleting the date "April 1, 2009" and substituting the date "August 1, 2009".

4. Subsection 16(2) of the regulations is amended by deleting the date "March 31, 2009" and substituting the date "July 31, 2009".

Commencement

5. These regulations come into force on March 31, 2009.
