regulations may be cited as the Public
Interest Disclosure and Whistleblower Protection Regulations. Eligibility 2. (1) The citizens' representative may arrange or pay for the provision of legal advice to an employee, a former employee or a retired employee involved in a proceeding under the Act where that person makes a disclosure under section 7 of the Act and the citizens' representative has not declined to investigate or ceased an investigation under section 15 of the Act. (2) A proceeding referred to in subsection (1) does not include a complaint to the Labour Relations Board under section 22 of the Act. Limit on amount 3. The maximum amount that may be paid by the citizens' representative for the provision of legal advice under section 26 of the Act is $3,000. ©Queen's Printer |
