Medical Regulations (Amendment)
under the
Medical Act, 2011

Under the authority of section 16 of the Medical Act, 2011, the Council of the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Newfoundland and Labrador, with the approval of the Minister of Health and Community Services, makes the following regulations.

Emergency licence

NLR 38/15
as amended

        1. Paragraph 14(2)(a) of the Medical Regulations is repealed and the following substituted:

             (a)  provides proof satisfactory to the registrar or the council that he or she

                      (i)  is licensed to practice medicine in another jurisdiction in Canada, or in another jurisdiction outside Canada satisfactory to the registrar or the council, or

                     (ii)  was previously licensed to practice medicine in the province;
