under the
Highway Traffic Act

Under the authority of section 187 of the Highway Traffic Act, I make the following regulations.

as amended

        1. Paragraph 3(2)(e) of the Vehicles Regulations, 2001 is amended by deleting the number "1000" and substituting the number "1,000".

 

        2. (1) Subsection 4(1) of the regulations is amended by deleting the reference "Schedules A, B and F" and substituting the reference "Schedules A, B, F and G".

             (2)  Subsection 4(3) of the regulations is amended by deleting the reference "Schedules A, B and F" and substituting the reference "Schedules A, B, F and G".

             (3)  Subsection 4(6) of the regulations is amended by deleting the words "him or her" and substituting the words "the minister".

 

        3. Subsection 5(3) of the regulations is amended by deleting the words "manufacturers agent" and substituting the words "manufacturer's agent".

 

        4. (1) Subsection 6(1) of the regulations is amended by deleting the words "him or her" wherever they appear and substituting the words "the minister".

             (2)  Subsection 6(11) of the regulations is amended by deleting the words "he or she" and substituting the words "the minister".

 

        5. (1) Paragraph 7(1)(b) of the regulations is amended by deleting the number "3000" and substituting the number "3,000".

             (2)  Paragraph 7(2)(a) of the regulations is amended by

             (a)  deleting the word "two" and substituting the number "2"; and

             (b)  deleting the number "7700" and substituting the number "7,700".

             (3)  Paragraph 7(2)(b) of the regulations is amended by deleting the word "two" and substituting the number "2".

 

        6. Section 8 of the regulations is amended by deleting the words "him or her" and substituting the words "the minister".

 

        7. (1) Section 9 of the regulations is amended by deleting the reference "Schedules A, B and F" wherever they appear and substituting the reference "Schedules A, B, F and G".

             (2)  Paragraph 9(f) of the regulations is amended by deleting the word "a" and substituting the word "as".

             (3)  Paragraph 9(k) of the regulations is amended by deleting the number "4500" wherever it appears and substituting the number "4,500".

 

        8. Subsection 12(1) of the regulations is amended by deleting the words "him or her" and substituting the words "the minister".

 

        9. Subsection 16(1) of the regulations is repealed and the following substituted:  

Exemption

      16. (1) A vehicle operated by or on behalf of the Department of Transportation and Infrastructure for the purpose of winter snow clearing shall be exempt from weight limitations described in these regulations provided that the vehicle's overall weight does not exceed the manufacturer's gross vehicle weight rating and each axle weight does not exceed the manufacturer's gross axle weight rating for that axle.

 

      10. Schedule F of the regulations is amended by adding the words "or Boat" after the words "Stinger Steer Automobile".

 

      11. The regulations are amended by adding immediately after section F the following:
