S.20.1 Amdt. 9. Schedule C Amdt. 10. Commencement NLR 14/17 1. Section 2 of the Management of Greenhouse Gas Reporting Regulations is amended by adding immediately after subsection (1) the following: (1.1) Notwithstanding paragraphs (1)(i) and (j), where ISO-14064-3 or ISO 14065 are amended, the previous version of the document may be complied with for a period of 3 years after the day on which the amended version of the document is published. 2. (1) Subparagraph 7(4)(t)(i) of the regulations is amended by deleting the words "he or she" and substituting the words "the individual". (2) Subparagraph 7(4)(t)(iii) of the regulations is amended by deleting the words "his or her" and substituting the words "the individual's". (3) Subsection 7(5) of the regulations is amended by deleting the words "his or her" and substituting the words "the operator's". 3. (1) Subsection 10(1) of the regulations is amended by deleting the words "he or she" and substituting the words "the operator". (2) Subparagraph 10(2)(b)(iii) of the regulations is amended by deleting the words "his or her" and substituting the words "the individual's". 4. Subsection 11(1) of the regulations is amended by deleting the word "or" at the end of paragraph (a), deleting the period at the end of paragraph (b) and substituting a semi-colon and the word "or" and adding immediately after paragraph (b) the following: (c) the Management of Greenhouse Gas Regulations applies to the industrial facility. 5. (1) Subsection 14(1) of the regulations is amended by deleting the words "he or she" and substituting the words "the member". (2) Subsection 14(2) of the regulations is amended by deleting the words "he or she" and substituting the words "the member". 6. (1) Paragraph 15(2)(d) of the regulations is repealed and the following substituted: (d) site visits, where required under subsection (2.1); (2) Section 15 of the regulations is amended by adding immediately after subsection (2) the following: (2.1) A site visit referred to in paragraph 2(d) is
required in the following situations: (a) it
is the initial verification of the
industrial facility under these regulations or by the verification body; (b) at least 3 calendar years have passed since
the verification body has verified an emissions report for the industrial
facility; (c) in the last emissions report for the
industrial facility, the verification body made a determination (i) that a material
discrepancy exists with respect to the reported greenhouse gas estimates, or (ii) that the emissions report
was not prepared in accordance with these regulations; or (d) the verification body is of the opinion that
a site visit is required. 7. Subparagraph 20(1)(b)(i) of the regulations is amended by deleting the words "he or she" and substituting the words "the minister". 8. (1) Subparagraph 20.1(3)(c)(i) of the regulations is amended by deleting the words "he or she" and substituting the words "the individual". (2) Subparagraph 20.1(3)(c)(iii) of the regulations is amended by deleting the words "his or her" and substituting the words "the individual's". 9. (1) Schedule C of the regulations is amended by deleting the row starting with "Methane" and substituting the following:
