Consolidated Chicken Farmers of Newfoundland and Labrador Order (Amendment)
under the
Newfoundland and Labrador Chicken Marketing Scheme
and the
Natural Products Marketing Act

Under the authority of the Newfoundland and Labrador Chicken Marketing Scheme and the Natural Products Marketing Act, the Chicken Farmers of Newfoundland and Labrador make the following Order.

        1. Section 4 of the Consolidated Chicken Farmers of Newfoundland and Labrador Order is repealed and the following substituted:

Service charge

        4. A service charge of $0.0165 per kilogram, plus HST, payable live weight, will be made by the Chicken Farmers of Newfoundland and Labrador on all chicken marketed under the Newfoundland and Labrador Chicken Marketing Scheme and the charges shall be collected and paid to the Chicken Farmers of Newfoundland and Labrador by the processor on behalf of the producers within 30 days from the date of the processing of the chicken.

Commencement

        2. These regulations come into force on June 4, 2023.
