Coyote Hunting Order, Newfoundland and Labrador (Amendment)
under the
Wild Life Regulations
and the
Wild Life Act

Under the authority of sections 81.2 and 114 of the Wild Life Regulations and the Wild Life Act, I make the following Order.

1. Section 4.1 of the Coyote Hunting Order, Newfoundland and Labrador is repealed and the following substituted:

Prohibition

4.1 Notwithstanding anything contained in this Order or in the Wild Life Regulations, a person shall not carry, transport or possess a firearm referred to in paragraph 4(a) in any area on the Island of Newfoundland frequented by wild life during any part of the open season within the period September 1 to December 31, inclusive, each year.
