Dental Hygienists Regulations (Amendment)
under the
Health Professions Act

Under the authority of section 53 of the Health Professions Act, the Newfoundland and Labrador Council of Health Professionals, with the approval of the Minister of Health and Community Services, makes the following regulations.

NLR 54/13

        1. Clause 4(1)(c)(v)(B) of the Dental Hygienists Regulations is amended by deleting the words "his or her" and substituting the words "the applicant's".

 

        2. (1) Subsection 5(1) of the regulations is amended by deleting the words "he or she" and substituting the words "the applicant".

             (2)  Subsection 5(2) of the regulations is amended by deleting the words "he or she" and substituting the words "the applicant".

             (3)  Subsection 5(3) of the regulations is amended by

             (a)  deleting the words "he or she" wherever they appear and substituting the words "the applicant"; and

             (b)  deleting the words "National Dental Hygiene Certification Board" wherever they appear and substituting the words "Federation of Dental Hygiene Regulators of Canada".

 

        3. (1) Subsection 6(1) of the regulations is amended by deleting the words "he or she" wherever they appear" and substituting the words "the applicant".

             (2)  Subsection 6(5) of the regulations is amended by

             (a)  deleting the words "his or her" and substituting the words "the member's"; and

             (b)  deleting the words "he or she" and substituting the words "the member".

 

        4. Subsection 7(2) of the regulations is amended by deleting the words "his or her" and substituting the words "the member's".

 

        5. Subsection 9(1) of the regulations is amended by deleting the words "his or her" and substituting the words "the member's".

 

        6. (1) Subsection 10(1) of the regulations is amended by

             (a)  deleting the words "his or her" wherever they appear and substituting the words "the member's"; and

             (b)  deleting the words "he or she" and substituting the words "the member".

             (2)  Subsection 10(3) of the regulations is amended by

             (a)  deleting the words "his or her" and substituting the words "the member's"; and

             (b)  deleting the words "he or she" and substituting the words "the member".

 

        7. Section 11 of the regulations is amended by deleting the words "his or her" wherever they appear and substituting the words "the member's".

 

        8. Section 12 of the regulations is amended by deleting the words "his or her" and substituting the words "the member's".

 

        9. Subsection 13(2) of the regulations is amended by deleting the words "he or she" and substituting the words "the member".

 

      10. Section 14 of the regulations is amended by deleting the words "his or her" and substituting the words "the member's".
