S.9 Amdt. 5. Sch. C Amdt. NLR 71/18 1. Subsection 3(1) of the Fur Bearing Animals and Coyote Trapping and Shooting Order, Newfoundland and Labrador is repealed and the following substituted: Prohibition 3. (1) Except as otherwise
provided in this Order, a person shall not use a trap
for beaver, muskrat, marten, lynx, weasel, otter or wolf unless the trap is a
trap described in Schedule C for that wild life
species and the trap is used in accordance with the conditions prescribed in
Schedule C. 2. Subsection 5(3) of the Order is repealed. 3. (1)
Subsection 6(1) of the Order is repealed and the
following substituted: Killing traps 6. (1) Killing traps used for the taking of fur bearing animals shall be set in a manner as to kill the animal quickly. (2) Subsection 6(2) of the Order is repealed. 4. Subsection 9(1) of the Order is amended by deleting the words “in his or her possession” and substituting the word “possess”. 5.
