Income Supplement and Seniors' Benefit Regulations (Amendment)

Income Tax Act, 2000

Under the authority of section 68 of the Income Tax Act, 2000, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council makes the following regulations.

1. The Income Supplement and Seniors' Benefit Regulations are amended by adding immediately after section 3 the following:

Indexation

3.1 All amounts expressed in dollars in paragraph 3(c) shall be indexed in accordance with subsection 6.1(2) of the Act and for that purpose "relevant section" in paragraph 6.1(3)(b) of the Act is considered to include paragraph 3(c) of these regulations.

Commencement

2. These regulations come into force on July 1, 2025.
