Egg Regulations (Amendment)
under the
Egg Scheme, 2000
and the
Natural Products Marketing Act

Under the authority of section 8 of the Egg Scheme, 2000 and the Natural Products Marketing Act, the Egg Farmers of Newfoundland and Labrador make the following regulations.

1. (1) Paragraph 2(e) of the Egg Regulations is amended by deleting the words "him or her" wherever they appear and substituting the words "the producer".

(2) Paragraph 2(i) of the regulations is amended by deleting the words "his or her" and substituting the words "the producer's".

(3) Subparagraph 2(j)(i) of the regulations is amended by deleting the words "he or she" and substituting the words "the person".

2. Subsection 3(2) of the regulations is amended by deleting the words "his or her" and substituting the words "the person's or producer's".

3. Section 9 of the regulations is amended by deleting the words "his or her" and substituting the words "the producer's".

4. Section 10 of the regulations is amended by deleting the words "him or her" and substituting the words "the producer".

5. Section 11 of the regulations is amended by deleting the words "his or her" and substituting the words "the producer's".

6. Subparagraph 13(b)(iii) of the regulations is amended by deleting the words "his or her" and substituting the words "the producer's".

7. Subsection 16 of the regulations is amended by deleting the words "his or her" and substituting the words "the producer's".

8. Paragraph 17(b) of the regulations is repealed and the following substituted:

(b) 25% to new entrants as per EFNL's new entrant policy of May 2025, approved by the minister, a true copy of which is on file with the EFNL and the office of the minister,

9. Section 23 of the regulations is amended by deleting the words "his or her" and substituting the words "the producer's".

10. (1) Subsection 27(1) of the regulations is amended by deleting the words "his or her" wherever they appear and substituting the words "the producer's".

(2) Subsection 27(2) of the regulations is amended by deleting the words "his or her" wherever they appear and substituting the words "the producer's".

11. Subsection 29(1) of the regulations is amended by deleting the words "his or her" wherever they appear and substituting the words "the producer's".
