Public Procurement Regulations (Amendment)
under the
Public Procurement Act
(O.C. 2026-054)

Under the authority of section 28 of the Public Procurement Act, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council makes the following regulations.

NLR 13/18
as amended

        1. (1) Paragraphs 5(2)(a) and (b) of the Public Procurement Regulations are repealed and the following substituted:

             (a)  goods and services with an estimated value of $139,000 or greater;

             (b)  public works with an estimated value of $347,400 or greater; and

             (2)  Paragraphs 5(3)(a) and (b) of the regulations are repealed and the following substituted:

             (a)  goods with an estimated value of $34,700 or greater;

             (b)  services and public works with an estimated value of $139,000 or greater; and                   

 

        2. Subparagraphs 14(1.1)(a)(i) and (ii) of the regulations are repealed and the following substituted:

                      (i)  goods, services or leases of space with an estimated value of less than $694,700, and

                     (ii)  public works with an estimated value of less than $6,943,900;

Transitional

        3. Where a public body has issued an open call for bids or a limited call for bids before the coming into force of these regulations, the public body shall award the contract as if these regulations had not come into force.
