Special Election for the Town of Victoria Order
under the
Towns and Local Service Districts Act
and the
Municipal Elections Act

Under the authority of section 209 of the Towns and Local Service Districts Act and section 7 of the Municipal Elections Act, I make the following Order.

ORDER

Analysis

        1.   Short title

        2.   Special election

        3.   Returning officer

        4.   Alternate returning officer

Short title

        1. This Order may be cited as the Special Election for the Town of Victoria Order.

Special election

        2. A special election for a 7-member town council shall be held in the Town of Victoria on May 14, 2026.

Returning officer

        3. Heather Elliott is appointed as the returning officer for the purpose of conducting the election referred to in section 2.

Alternate returning officer

        4. Jacob Kimball is appointed as the alternate returning officer.
