Black Bear Hunting and Trapping Order,
Newfoundland and Labrador (Amendment)
under the
Wild Life Regulations
and the
Wild Life Act

Under the authority of section 114 of the Wild Life Regulations and the Wild Life Act, I make the following Order.

1. Subsection 5(2) of the Black Bear Hunting and Trapping Order, Newfoundland and Labrador is repealed and the following substituted:

(2) Notwithstanding subsection (1), the following shall not be taken by shooting:

(a) a female black bear accompanied by cubs under one year of age; and

(b) a black bear cub under one year of age.
