Statutes of Newfoundland 1993 CHAPTER 30 AN ACT TO AMEND THE LOAN AND (Assented to December 17, 1993) Analysis 1. Schedule Amdt. 2. 1983 c.37 Schedule Amdt. 3. 1987 c.31 Schedule Amdt. 4. 1989 c.8 Schedule Amdt. 5. 1990 c.41 Schedule Amdt. 6. 1991 c.6 Schedule Amdt. 7. 1993 c.11 Schedule Amdt. Be it enacted by the Lieutenant-Governor and House of Assembly in Legislative Session convened, as follows: 1957 No.70 as amended 1. The Schedule to The Loan and Guarantee Act, 1957 is amended by adding the following:
1983 c.37 Schedule Amdt. 2. The Schedule to the Act is further amended by amending item 3 of the Schedule, as enacted by chapter 37 of 1983, as amended by paragraph 5(b) of chapter 3 of 1985, paragraph 4(a) of chapter 21 of 1986, section 4 of chapter 31 of 1987, section 3 of chapter 8 of 1989, paragraph 2(a) of chapter 41 of 1990 and section 2 of chapter 11 of 1993, by striking out the date of expiry "June 30, 1993" and by substituting the date of expiry "June 30, 1994". 1987 c.31 Schedule Amdt. 3. The Schedule to the Act is further amended by amending the Schedule, as enacted by chapter 31 of 1987, as follows: (a) item 10 of that Schedule, as amended by paragraph 6(d) of chapter 8 of 1989, paragraph 3(a) of chapter 5 of 1990, paragraph 5(a) of chapter 41 of 1990 and paragraph 3(a) of chapter 11 of 1993, is further amended by striking out the date of expiry "September 30, 1992" and by substituting the date of expiry "April 30, 1994"; and (b) item 15 of that Schedule, as amended by paragraph 6(f) of chapter 8 of 1989, paragraph 5(b) of chapter 41 of 1990 and paragraph 3(b) of chapter 11 of 1993, is further amended (i) by striking out the statutory amount "$15,500,000" and by substituting the statutory amount "$18,500,000", (ii) by striking out the statutory amount "$18,500,000" and by substituting the statutory amount "$20,500,000", and (iii) by striking out the statutory amount "$20,500,000" and by substituting the statutory amount "$23,000,000". 1989 c.8 Schedule Amdt. 4. The Schedule to the Act is further amended by amending item 10 of the Schedule, as enacted by chapter 8 of 1989, as amended by paragraph 4(b) of chapter 27 of 1989, paragraph 6(b) of chapter 41 of 1990, paragraph 4(a) of chapter 4 of 1992 and paragraph 4(b) of chapter 11 of 1993, by striking out the date of expiry "April 30/93" and by substituting the date of expiry "April 30/94". 1990 c.41 Schedule Amdt. 5. The Schedule to the Act is further amended by amending item 2 of the Schedule, as enacted by chapter 41 of 1990, as amended by paragraph 3(a) of chapter 6 of 1991 and paragraph 5(a) of chapter 4 of 1992, by striking out the date of expiry "March 31/92" and by substituting the date of expiry "July 31/94". 1991 c.6 Schedule Amdt. 6. The Schedule to the Act is further amended by amending item 2 of the Schedule, as enacted by chapter 6 of 1991, as amended by section 6 of chapter 11 of 1993, by striking out the date of expiry "Nov. 30/92" and substituting the date of expiry "Nov. 30/93". 1993 c.11 Schedule Amdt. 7. The Schedule to the Act is further amended by amending the Schedule, as enacted by chapter 11 of 1993, as follows: (a) item 3 of that Schedule is amended by striking out the date of expiry "April 30/93" and by substituting the date of expiry "April 30/94"; (b) item 4 of that Schedule is amended by striking out the date of expiry "Dec. 31/92" and by substituting the date of expiry "Sept. 30/93"; and (c) item 6 of that Schedule is amended by striking out the date of expiry "April 30, 1993" and by substituting the date of expiry "April 30/94". ©Earl G.
