Statutes of Newfoundland 1999 CHAPTER 17 AN ACT TO AMEND THE LOAN AND (Assented to December 14, 1999) Analysis 1. Schedule Amdt. 2. 1993 c.11 3. 1998 c.5 4. Schedule Amdt. Be it enacted by the Lieutenant-Governor and House of Assembly in Legislative Session convened, as follows: 1957 No.70 1. The Schedule to The Loan and Guarantee Act, 1957 is amended by adding the following:
1993 c.11 2. The Schedule to the Act is further amended by amending the Schedule, as enacted by chapter 11 of 1993, as follows: (a) Item 3 - Earle Brothers Fisheries Limited - as amended by paragraph 7(a) of chapter 30 of 1993, paragraph 5(b) of chapter 16 of 1994, paragraph 5(b) of chapter 6 of 1996 and paragraph 5(b) of chapter 5 of 1998 is further amended by striking out the statutory amount "$600,000" and substituting the statutory amount "$265,000"; and (b) Item 5 – Newfoundland Symphony Orchestra Association - as amended by paragraph 5(c) of chapter 6 of 1996 (i) by striking out the statutory amount "$57,000" and substituting the statutory amount "$50,000", and (ii) by striking out the date of expiry "December 31, 1997" and substituting the date of expiry "March 31, 2001". 1998 c.5 3. The Schedule to the Act is further amended by amending the Schedule as enacted by chapter 5 of 1998, as follows: (a) Item 1 – Integrated Poultry Limited is amended by striking out the statutory amount "$10,000,000" and substituting the statutory amount "$11,500,000"; and (b) Item 4 - S.C.B. Fisheries Limited – is amended as follows: (i) by striking out the statutory amount "$5,000,000" and substituting the statutory amount "$6,000,000", and (ii) by striking out the statutory amount "$6,000,000" and substituting the statutory amount "$6,700,000". Schedule Amdt. 4. The Schedule to the Act is further amended by amending Item 5 – Torngat Fish Producers Co-operative Society Limited – of the Schedule as enacted by section 1 of this Act, by striking out the date of expiry "May 31, 1999" and substituting the date of expiry "May 31, 2000". ©Earl G.
