Duck Pond Copper-Zinc Mine Undertaking Order
under the
Environmental Assessment Act, 2000

Under the authority of section 25 of the Environmental Assessment Act, 2000, the Lieutenant Governor in Council, upon the recommendation of the Minister of Environment, makes the following Order.

Analysis



Short title

        1. This Order may be cited as the Duck Pond Copper-Zinc Mine Undertaking Order.

Permission to proceed

        2. Thundermin Resources Inc. and Queenston Mining Inc. are permitted to proceed with the Duck Pond Copper-Zinc Mine subject to the following terms and conditions:

             (a)  that Thundermin Resources Inc. and Queenston Mining Inc. abide by all commitments made in the Environmental Impact Statement dated August 6, 2001 and the addenda to that statement;

             (b)  that Thundermin Resources Inc. and Queenston Mining Inc. submit an Environmental Protection Plan for approval by the Minister of Environment prior to the commencement of construction; and

             (c)  that Thundermin Resources Inc. and Queenston Mining Inc. obtain and abide by the requirements of all licences, permits, approvals, certificates or other documents of authorization required by law.
