Notice of Protected Water Supply Area of
John Newhook's Pond, WS-S-0863

under the
Water Resources Act

Under the authority of section 39 of the Water Resources Act , I designate the area generally known as the John Newhook's Pond Water Supply Area, WS-S-0863, for the Town of Norman's Cove - Long Cove as a protected water supply area.

NOTICE

This area includes all lands in the Provincial Electoral District of Bellevue abutted and bounded as follows:

Beginning at a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 296 457 metres and northing 5 269 959 metres;

Then running in a southwesterly direction for a distance of 343 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 296 305 metres and northing 5 269 651 metres;

Then running in a southerly direction for a distance of 123 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 296 324 metres and northing 5 269 529 metres;

Then running in a southwesterly direction for a distance of 603 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 296 035 metres and northing 5 269 000 metres;

Then running in a southwesterly direction for a distance of 609 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 295 630 metres and northing 5 268 545 metres;

Then running in a southerly direction for a distance of 435 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 295 650 metres and northing 5 268 110 metres;

Then running in a southwesterly direction for a distance of 112 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 295 577 metres and northing 5 268 025 metres;

Then running in a northwesterly direction for a distance of 133 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 295 498 metres and northing 5 268 132 metres;

Then running in a northerly direction for a distance of 647 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 295 450 metres and northing 5 268 777 metres;

Then running in a northerly direction for a distance of 635 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 295 578 metres and northing 5 269 399 metres;

Then running in a northeasterly direction for a distance of 166 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 295 711 metres and northing 5 269 498 metres;

Then running in a northerly direction for a distance of 494 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 295 810 metres and northing 5 269 982 metres;

Then running in a northeasterly direction for a distance of 245 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 296 004 metres and northing 5 270 131 metres;

Then running in a southeasterly direction for a distance of 198 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 296 092 metres and northing 5 269 954 metres;

Then running in a southeasterly direction for a distance of 140 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 296 158 metres and northing 5 269 830 metres;

Then running in a northeasterly direction for a distance of 254 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 296 385 metres and northing 5 269 944 metres;

Then running in an easterly direction for a distance of 74 metres, more or less, to the point of commencement.

All coordinates refer Zone 22 of the NAD 83 Universal Transverse Mercator Projection.
