Notice of Protected Water Supply Area
of Little Pond, WS-S-0556 for the
Town of Point Leamington
under the
Water Resources Act

Under the authority of section 39 of the Water Resources Act , I designate the area generally known as the Little Pond Water Supply Area for the Town of Point Leamington as a protected water supply area.

NOTICE

This area includes all lands in the Provincial Electoral District of Exploits abutted and bounded as follows:

Beginning at a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 610 037 metres and northing 5 456 214 metres;

Then running in a westerly direction for a distance of 818 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 609 234 metres and northing 5 456 058 metres;

Then running in a northerly direction for a distance of 1223 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 608 916 metres and northing 5 457 239 metres;

Then running in a northerly direction for a distance of 1759 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 608 885 metres and northing 5 458 998 metres;

Then running in a northerly direction for a distance of 899 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 609 170 metres and northing 5 459 851 metres;

Then running in a northeasterly direction for a distance of 2858 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting  610 994 metres and northing 5 462 051 metres;

Then running in a northeasterly direction for a distance of 1218 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 612 082 metres and northing 5 462 598 metres;

Then running in a northeasterly direction for a distance of 1999 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 612 917 metres and northing 5 464 415 metres;

Then running in a northeasterly direction for a distance of 533 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 613 330 metres and northing 5 464 751 metres;

Then running in a easterly direction for a distance of 1466 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 614 695 metres and northing 5 465 285 metres;

Then running in a southeasterly direction for a distance of 749 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 615 300 metres and northing 5 464 844 metres;

Then running in a southerly direction for a distance of 1883 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 615 805 metres and northing 5 463 030 metres;

Then running in a southwesterly direction for a distance of 431 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 615 424 metres and northing 5 462 829 metres;

Then running in a southerly direction for a distance of 151 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 615 378 metres and northing 5 462 685 metres;

Then running in a southerly direction for a distance of 170 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 615 419 metres and northing 5 462 521 metres;

Then running in a southerly direction for a distance of 249 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 615 340 metres and northing 5 462 285 metres;

Then running in a southwesterly direction for a distance of 526 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 613 031 metres and northing 5 456 344 metres;

Then running in a westerly direction for a distance of 1204 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 611 850 metres and northing 5 456 109 metres;

Then running in a westerly direction for a distance of 438 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 611 418 metres and northing 5 456 185 metres;

Then running in a westerly direction for a distance of 493 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 610 953 metres and northing 5 456 022 metres;

Then running in a northwesterly direction for a distance of 582 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 610 599 metres and northing 5 456 484 metres;

Then running in a southwesterly direction for a distance of 623 metres, more or less, to the point of commencement.

All coordinates refer to Zone 21 of the NAD 83 Universal Transverse Mercator Projection.

The Notice of Protected Water Supply Area of Little Pond , Newfoundland and Labrador Regulation 95/99, is repealed.
