Anchor Point Municipal Planning Area
under the
Urban and Rural Planning Act, 2000

Under the authority of section 11 of the Urban and Rural Planning Act, 2000 , I define the following area as the Anchor Point Municipal Planning Area.

PLANNING AREA

Beginning at a point on the shoreline between Genge Point and Chambers Point, having coordinates east 249,477.918 metres and north 5,679,455.924 metres, more or less;

Then running in a general southwesterly direction along the sinuosities of the shoreline to a point having coordinates east 248,706.758 metres and north 5,677,792.761 metres, more or less;

Then running in a general easterly direction along the sinuosities of the shoreline to a point in Anchor Cove having coordinates east 248,998.084 metres and north 5,677,769.030 metres, more or less;

Then running in a general northeasterly direction along the sinuosities of the shoreline to a point on the high water mark having coordinates east 249,169.267 metres and north 5,677,919.746 metres, more or less;

Then running in a general southeasterly direction along the sinuosities of the shoreline to point on the high water mark where an unnamed brook flows in the Gulf of St. Lawrence having coordinates east 249,990.349 metres and north 5,677,201.710 metres, more or less;

Then running in a general northeasterly direction along the sinuosities of the unnamed brook across Route 430 to a point on the high water mark on the western bank of said unnamed brook having coordinates east 250,392.827 metres and north 5,677,671.580 metres, more or less;

Then heading in a southeasterly direction to a point having coordinates east 250,533.197 metres and north 5,677,555.639 metres, more or less;

Then heading in a northeasterly direction to a point having coordinates east 251,299.593 metres and north 5,677,708.273 metres, more or less;

Then heading in northeasterly direction to a point having coordinates east 251,556.964 metres and north 5,677,947.880 metres, more or less;

Then heading in a southeasterly direction to a point having coordinates east 253,869.576 metres and north 5,677,039.029 metres, more or less;

Then heading in a northeasterly direction to a point having coordinates east 254,422.252 metres and north 5,677,365.646 metres more or less;

Then heading in a general northeasterly direction to a point having coordinates east 254,552.785 metres and north 5,678,944.534 metres, more or less;

Then heading in a northwesterly direction to a point having coordinates east 254,283.684 metres and north 5,680,194.722 metres, more or less;

Then heading in a westerly direction back to the point of beginning.

All coordinates scaled from 30cm Orthorectified Imagery and being referenced to the North American Datum 1983, (NAD83) using the Modified Transverse Mercator (MTM) Zone 2 Projection.
