Under the authority of section 257 of the Municipalities Act and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act , the Lieutenant-Governor in Council makes the following Order.

ORDER

Analysis



Short title

        1. This Order may be cited as the Town of Beachside Order .

Boundaries

        2. The boundaries of the Town of Beachside are as set out in the Schedule.

Repeal

        3. Newfoundland Regulations 865/78, 84/82 and 254/86 are repealed.

Schedule

Beginning at a point on the highwater mark of the western shoreline of Wild Bight, having a grid reference of 798003;

Then in a generally southerly, northeasterly and southwesterly direction along the sinuosities of Wild Bight and passing Fox Neck and Bartlett's Cove a distance of approximately 9,300 metres to a point and having a grid reference of 793984;

Then north 76° 30' west a distance of 1,050 metres, more or less;

Then north 23° 30' west a distance of 200 metres, more or less;

Then north 29° east a distance of 1,200 metres, more or less;

Then north 66° 30' east a distance of 1,100 metres, more or less, to the point of commencement.

All bearings herein refer to grid north and as with distances given are subject to approximation as delineated on the 1:50,000 National Topographic Mapping.
