Municipalities Act

Under the authority of the Municipalities Act
and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act
, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council makes the following Order.
ORDER
Analysis
District continued

The area comprising the community of
Bellevue
Beach
is continued as a local service district by the name of the Local Service District of Bellevue Beach
.

The boundaries for the local service district are as set out in the Schedule.

Repeal
3.
Newfoundland
Regulations 67/83 and 1/92 are repealed.

Schedule
Beginning at a point on the eastern sideline of Chapel Arm -
Bellevue Road
and proceeding in a generally easterly direction along the southern boundary of
Bellevue
Beach
Provincial
Park
(Lands Branch Plan No. SP-88) to the northeastern side of
Broad
Lake
;
Then in a generally southerly direction along the eastern shoreline of
Broad
Lake
to a point, that point being the northern shoreline of an unnamed river which flows into the southwest corner of
Broad
Lake
;
Then in a generally westerly direction along the northern bank of the river to a point, that point being 400 metres northeastward along a line perpendicular to the centre line of the Trans Canada Highway;
Then in a generally northwesterly direction along a line parallel to and 400 metres from the centre line of the highway road to a point, 400 metres northwestward along a line perpendicular to the centre line of the road from Bellevue Beach to Fair Haven;
Then north 18° 00' east a distance of 1,325 metres, more or less, to a point in and 150 metres southwestward along a line perpendicular to Chapel Arm - Bellevue Road, to the point of beginning.
All bearings being referred to grid north and as with distances given are subject to approximation as delineated on the 1:50,000 National Topographic Map, 1971 edition.
