Town of Belleoram Order
under the
Municipalities Act
(O.C. 96-170)

Under the authority of section 3 of the Municipalities Act and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act , the Lieutenant-Governor in Council makes the following Order.

Short title

        1. This Order may be cited as the Town of Belleoram Order .

        2. The boundaries of the Town of Belleoram are as set out in the Schedule.

Repeal

        3. Newfoundland Regulation 684/78 is repealed.

Schedule

Beginning at a point on the highwater mark due north of the lighthouse at Beach Point on the eastern shoreline of Belleoram Harbour ;

Then in a southerly direction along the sinuosities of the western shoreline of Fortune Bay to the southern extremity of Black Cove at grid reference 199631, NTS sheet No. 1M/11 edition 2;

Then north 48° 00' west 950 metres, more or less, to a high point, locally known as Belleoram Hill;

Then north 41° 30' west 1,700 metres, more or less, to a high point, locally known as Big Hill;

Then north 17° 30' east 950 metres, more or less, to a high point, locally known as Beaver Barren Hill;

Then south 65° 30' east 550 metres, more or less, crossing Belleoram - Corbin Road and to a point on the shoreline of Fortune Bay , grid reference 188656;

Then in a southerly direction passing Gull Point, Belleoram Harbour to the point of beginning.

All bearings refer to grid north and as with distances given are subject to approximation as delineated on the 1:50,000 National Topographic Mapping.
