Town of Botwood Order
under the
Municipalities Act
(O.C. 96-170)

Under the authority of section 3 of the Municipalities Act and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act , the Lieutenant-Governor in Council makes the following Order.

Short title

        1. This Order may be cited as the Town of Botwood Order .

        2. The boundaries of the Town of Botwood are as set out in the Schedule.

Repeal

        3. Newfoundland Regulation 694/78 is repealed.

Schedule

Beginning at the mouth of Peter's River and running in a generally southwesterly direction along the northern bank of that river to the centre line of the Anglo-Newfoundland Development Company railway trestle;

Then running due west a distance of 1,500 metres, more or less;

Then running north 14° east a distance of 4,900 metres, more or less, to the southern end of the bridge at the mouth of Northern Arm Brook;

Then running in a generally easterly direction along the southern shoreline of Northern Arm at highwater mark to Killick Point, passing thereby Northern Arm Point;

Then running in a generally southerly direction along the western shoreline of Bay of Exploits at highwater mark to the place of beginning, passing thereby Mill Point.

All bearings being referred to the true meridian.
