Under the authority of section 257 of the Municipalities Act and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act , the Lieutenant-Governor in Council makes the following Order.

Short title

        1. This Order may be cited as the Town of Coachman's Cove Order .

        2. The boundaries of the Town of Coachman 's Cove are as set out in the Schedule.

Repeal

        3. Newfoundland Regulations 618/78 and 241/85 are repealed.

Schedule

Beginning at a point, that point being on the highwater mark of the western shoreline of Baie Verte and having a grid reference of 631430;

Then north 59° 30' west 3,750 metres, more or less;

Then north 9° east 3,000 metres, more or less, to the southern tip of an unnamed pond;

Then south 89° east 2,400 metres, more or less;

Then north 48° 30' east 3,200 metres, more or less, to a point on the highwater mark of the shoreline of the Atlantic Ocean known as Paradise Point;

Then in a generally southerly direction along the sinuosities of the shoreline passing Lower Pardee Cove, Birchy Cove and South Cove a distance of approximately 14,000 metres to the point of commencement.

All bearings refer to grid north and as with distances given are subject to approximation.
