Under the authority of section 257 of the Municipalities Act and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act , the Lieutenant-Governor in Council makes the following Order.

Short title

        1. This Order may be cited as the Town of Ferryland Order .

        2. The boundaries of the Town of Ferryland are as set out in the Schedule.

Repeal

        3. Newfoundland Regulation 645/78 is repealed.

Schedule

Beginning at North Head at the northern entrance of Aquaforte Harbour and then running north 47° west 5,275 metres, more to less, to a point in the centre line of the abandoned railway right-of-way;

Then running north 76° east 4,420 metres, more or less, to the southern shoreline of Calvert Harbour at the western entrance to Lance Cove;

Then following the shoreline via Scoggins Head, Coldeast Point, Ferryland Harbour and the peninsula of Ferryland Head to the place of beginning.

All bearings being referred to the true meridian.
