Town of Grand Bank Order
under the
Municipalities Act
(O.C. 96-170)

Under the authority of section 3 of the Municipalities Act and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act , the Lieutenant-Governor in Council makes the following Order.

Short title

        1. This Order may be cited as the Town of Grand Bank Order .

        2. The boundaries of the Town of Grand Bank are as set out in the Schedule.

Repeal

        3. Newfoundland Regulation 656/78 is repealed.

Schedule

Beginning at Gunville Point on the southeasterly shoreline of Fortune Bay ;

Then running south 48° west a distance of 2,750 metres, more or less, to the highest point on Baggers Hill;

Then running south 79° west a distance of 5,150 metres, more or less, to the highest point on Round Hill;

Then running north 3° 54' east a distance of 1,650 metres, more or less, to the highest point on Boundary Hill;

Then running north 35° 36' west a distance of 700 metres, more or less, to Yellow Rocks on the shoreline of Fortune Bay;

Then along the shoreline in a general northeasterly and easterly direction to the point of commencement.

All bearings are referred to the true meridian.
