Order
under the
Municipalities Act
(O.C. 96-170)
Under the authority of section 3 of the Municipalities Act
and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act
, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council makes the following Order.
ORDER
Analysis
Short title
1.
This Order may be cited as the Town of Hare Bay Order

The boundaries of the Town of Hare Bay are as set out in the Schedule.

Newfoundland
Regulation 881/78 is repealed.

Schedule
Beginning at a point in the centre line of the south access road to
Wellington
, that point being midway between the United and Anglican cemeteries;
Then running south 30° east a distance of 825 metres, more or less, to a point in the northern shoreline of
Hare
Bay
at the western entrance to Butcher's Cove;
Then running in a generally southerly direction along the sinuosities of the western shoreline of
Hare
Bay
and the content reach to a point at the northern entrance to
Freshwater
Bay
;
Then running in a generally westerly direction along the northern shoreline of
Freshwater
Bay
to a point located a distance of 150 metres, more or less, southeast of the mouth of Traverse Brook;
Then running north a distance of 4,250 metres, more or less;
Then running north 57° east a distance of 6,450 metres, more or less, to a point in the centre of the bridge spanning the mouth of the brook which flows into the northwest arm of Lockers Bay;
Then running in a generally southeasterly direction along the centre line of the main highway to a point located a distance of 150 metres, more or less, south of the centre line of the north access road to Wellington;
Then running south 30° east a distance of 300 metres, more or less, to the point of beginning.
All bearings being referred to the true meridian.
