Under the authority of section 257 of the Municipalities Act and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act , the Lieutenant-Governor in Council makes the following Order.

Short title

        1. This Order may be cited as the Town of Indian Bay Order .

        2. The boundaries of the Town of Indian Bay are as set out in the Schedule.

Repeal

        3. Newfoundland Regulation 588/78 is repealed.

Schedule

Beginning at a point in the western shoreline of the northwest arm of Indian Bay, that point being 450 metres, more or less, due south of the southern bank of Indian Bay Brook where it empties into Northwest Arm;

Then running west 14,175 metres, more or less;

Then running north 6,425 metres, more or less;

Then running east 16,100 metres, more or less;

Then running south 6,850 metres, more or less, to a point in the northern shoreline of northwest arm of Indian Bay ;

Then running in a generally northwesterly direction along the northern shoreline of northwest arm to a point in the north abutment of the bridge spanning Indian Brook;

Then running along the eastern face of the bridge to a point in the south abutment;

Then running in a generally southeasterly direction along the western shoreline of northwest arm to the point of beginning.

All bearings being referred to the true meridian.
