Under the authority of section 257 of the Municipalities Act and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act , the Lieutenant-Governor in Council makes the following Order.

Short title

        1. This Order may be cited as the Town of King's Cove Order .

        2. The boundaries of the Town of King 's Cove are as set out in the Schedule.

Repeal

        3. Newfoundland Regulation 582/78 is repealed.

Schedule

Beginning at a point at the mouth of George's Pond Brook on the western shoreline of Rolling Cove and then running south 65° west a distance of 7,000 metres, more or less;

Then running north 3,350 metres, more or less;

Then running north 65° east a distance of 7,300 metres, more or less, to a point in the shoreline of Fishpoint Gulch on the western shoreline of Blackhead Bay;

Then running in a generally southerly direction along the western shoreline of Blackhead Bay via King's Cove to the point of beginning.

All bearings being referred to the true meridian.
