(O.C. 96-170)

Under the authority of section 257 of the Municipalities Act and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act , the Lieutenant-Governor in Council makes the following Order.

Short title

        1. This Order may be cited as the Town of L'Anse au Loup Order .

        2. The boundaries of the Town of L'Anse au Loup are as set out in the Schedule.

Repeal

        3. Newfoundland Regulation 718/78 is repealed.

Schedule

Beginning at a point, that point being at the centre line of Highway 84 south of L'Anse au Loup and being due west a distance of 700 metres, more or less, from the western shoreline of L'Anse au Loup Bay;

Then north 58° 00' west a distance of 975 metres, more or less, to the southern bank of a stream flowing into L'Anse au Loup;

Then following the southern shoreline of the stream in a generally northerly direction to its source;

Then north 48° 00' east a distance of 1,650 metres, more or less, to the western bank of L'Anse au Loup Brook;

Then due east a distance of 1,524 metres, more or less, to the centre line of Highway 87 north of L'Anse au Loup;

Then south 22° 00' east a distance of 1,050 metres, more or less, to the highwater mark on the northern shoreline of L'Anse au Loup Bay;

Then following the sinuosities of the shoreline in a generally southerly direction a distance of 2,050 metres, more or less, to a point, that point being at the highwater mark on the western shoreline of L'Anse au Loup Bay ;

Then due west a distance of 700 metres, more or less, to the point of commencement.

All bearings refer to the true meridian.
