Under the authority of section 257 of the Municipalities Act and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act , the Lieutenant-Governor in Council makes the following Order.

Short title

        1. This Order may be cited as the Town of Leading Tickles Order .

        2. The boundaries of the Town of Leading Tickles are as set out in the Schedule.

Repeal

        3. Newfoundland Regulation 720/78 is repealed.

Schedule

Beginning at a point in the southeast angle of Cumlins Cove and then running south a distance of 3,000 metres, more or less, to a point in the northern limit of the access road to Glover's Harbour;

Then running in a generally easterly direction along the northern limit of the Glover's Harbour access road a distance of 800 metres, more or less, to a point in the western limit of the main highway connecting Leading Tickles and Point Leamington;

Then running north 78° east a distance of 3,050 metres, more or less, to a point on the western shoreline of Budgell Harbour;

Then running in a generally northeasterly direction along the western shoreline of Osmonton Arm to a point at the east entrance to Wild Bight;

Then running along the shoreline of the harbour of Wild Bight to Wild Bight Point;

Then running in a generally westerly direction along the southern shoreline of the Leading Tickles to a point in the southeast corner of the Cull Island Causeway;

Then running north along the eastern face of the Cull Island Causeway to a point in the northeast corner of the causeway;

Then running along the eastern, northern and southern shorelines of Cull Island to a point in the northwest corner of the Cull Island Causeway;

Then running along the western face of the causeway to a point in the southwest corner;

Then running in a generally southwesterly direction along the eastern shoreline of the Leading Tickles and the Main Channel to the point of beginning.

All bearings being referred to the true meridian.
