Town of Little Burnt Bay Order
under the
Municipalities Act
(O.C. 96-170)

Under the authority of section 3 of the Municipalities Act and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act , the Lieutenant-Governor in Council makes the following Order.

Short title

        1. This Order may be cited as the Town of Little Burnt Bay Order .

        2. The boundaries of the Town of Little Burnt Bay are as set out in the Schedule.

Repeal

        3. Newfoundland Regulations 712/78 and 18/94 are repealed.

Schedule

Beginning at a point at highwater mark in Southwest Bottom locally known as Little Faukes Dock;

Then in a generally southwesterly direction crossing the peninsula a distance of 2,250 metres, more or less, to a point at highwater mark in St. John's Bay locally known as Burley's Cove Head;

Then in a generally northerly direction following the sinuosities of the shoreline of St. John 's Bay to the northern extremity of Southern Head;

Then in a generally southerly direction following the sinuosities of the shoreline of Little Burnt Bay via Southern Head Cove, Big Cove, Northwest and Southwest Bottom to Little Faukes Dock, the point of beginning.
