Under the authority of section 257 of the Municipalities Act and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act , the Lieutenant-Governor in Council makes the following Order.

Short title

        1. This Order may be cited as the Town of Middle Arm Order .

        2. The boundaries of the Town of Middle Arm are as set out in the Schedule.

Repeal

        3. Newfoundland Regulation 741/78 is repealed.

Schedule

Beginning at the point of highest elevation on Middle Arm Ridge and then running north 4,425 metres, more or less;

Then running east 7,925 metres, more or less, to a point in the centre line of the main highroad, that point being approximately midway between Winterhouse Cove and Middle Arm;

Then running south 1,375 metres, more or less, to a point in the northern shoreline of Middle Arm;

Then running in a generally southwesterly direction along the sinuosities of the northern shoreline to the most western point of Middle Arm;

Then running in a generally easterly direction along the sinuosities of the southern shoreline to Middle Arm Point at the southern entrance to Middle Arm;

Then running south 80° west 8,550 metres, more or less, to the point of beginning.

All bearings being referred to grid north.
