Under the authority of section 257 of the Municipalities Act and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act , the Lieutenant-Governor in Council makes the following Order.

Short title

        1. This Order may be cited as the Town of Ming's Bight Order .

        2. The boundaries of the Town of Ming 's Bight are as set out in the Schedule.

Repeal

        3. Newfoundland Regulations 69/78, 200/78, 744/78 and 208/79 are repealed.

Schedule

Beginning at a point in the southern shoreline of Ming's Bight where Ming's South Brook empties into Ming's Bight;

Then following the sinuosities of the shoreline of Ming's Bight in a generally northeasterly direction for a distance of 975 metres, more or less;

Then south 28° east a distance of 1,075 metres to a point, that point being the top of an unnamed hill;

Then south 81° west a distance of 3,750 metres to a point of the centre line of Route 99;

Then north 30° west a distance of 650 metres to a point, that point being the most southern point of Mud Pond;

Then north 44° east for a distance of 1,150 metres, more or less, to a point, that point being the most easterly point of Bear Pond;

Then north 72° east for a distance of 1,225 metres, more or less, to a point on the western shoreline of Ming's Bight;

Then following the sinuosities of the shoreline in a southerly and easterly direction to the point of beginning.

All bearings being referred to grid north.
