Town of Main Brook Order
under the
Municipalities Act
(O.C. 96-170)

Under the authority of section 3 of the Municipalities Act and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act , the Lieutenant-Governor in Council makes the following Order.

Short title

        1. This Order may be cited as the Town of Main Brook Order .

        2. The boundaries of the Town of Main Brook are as set out in the Schedule.

Repeal

        3. Newfoundland Regulation 726/78 is repealed.

Schedule

Beginning at a point in the shoreline of Hackett's Head at the eastern entrance to Ariege (Belvy) Bay;

Then running south 82° east 3,225 metres;

Then running south 7° west 6,425 metres;

Then running north 82° west 6,925 metres;

Then running north 10° east 5,650 metres to a point on the western shoreline of Ariege (Belvy) Bay;

Then following the sinuosities of the shoreline of Ariege (Belvy) Bay and Prince Edward Bay to the point of beginning, together with all islands lying adjacent to the shore.

All bearings being referred to grid north.
