Town of Marystown Order
under the
Municipalities Act
(O.C. 96-170)

Under the authority of section 3 of the Municipalities Act and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act , the Lieutenant-Governor in Council makes the following Order.

Short title

        1. This Order may be cited as the Town of Marystown Order .

        2. The boundaries of the Town of Marystown are as set out in the Schedule.

Repeal

        3. Newfoundland Regulation 728/78 is repealed.

Schedule

Beginning at Cashel Lookout and running south 14° east 2,350 metres, more or less, to the mouth of Poverty Brook at Cashel Cove and then following the western and southern shoreline of Mortier Bay to Big Head and then along the shoreline to Puzzle Head;

Then running south 57° 30' west 7,100 metres, more or less, to the point at UTM grid co-ordinate 638 630 metres east, 5 219 080 metres north;

Then running south 2° west 3,850 metres, more or less, and then generally following the centre of Southwest Arm to the highway bridge, Route 210;

Then running north 60° east 7,550 metres, more or less, to Fox Hill;

Then running north 46° east 4,400 metres, more or less, to Cashel Lookout, the place of beginning.

All bearings being referred to UTM grid and as with distances given are subject to approximation as delineated on the 1:50,000 Map 1 M/3, edition 3, 1988.
