Town of Point Leamington Order
under the
Municipalities Act
(O.C. 96-170)
Under the authority of section 3 of the Municipalities Act
and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act
, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council makes the following Order.
ORDER

Short title
1.
This Order may be cited as the Town of Point Leamington Order

The boundaries of the Town of Point Leamington are as set out in the Schedule.

Repeal
3.
Newfoundland
Regulation 761/78 is repealed.

Schedule
Beginning at the most southerly point in the south shoreline of Harvey's Cove at the west entrance to Point Leamington Harbour and then running south 60° west 4,570 metres, more or less;
Then running south 4,270 metres, more or less;
Then running east 5,180 metres, more or less, to the centre point of a bridge spanning Two Mile Brook on the Point Leamington Highroad;
Then running north 5° east 5,270 metres, more or less, to the most southerly point of Bard Island Pond;
Then running west 760 metres, more or less, to a point in the eastern shoreline of Point
Leamington
Harbour;
Then running along the sinuosities of the eastern shoreline in a generally southwesterly direction to the mouth of a small stream which flows out of Little Pond;
Then running along the sinuosities of the western shoreline in a generally northeasterly direction to the point of beginning.
All bearings being referred to the true meridian.
