Town of Port au Port West - Aguathuna - Felix Cove Order
under the
Municipalities Act
(O.C. 96-170)

Under the authority of section 3 of the Municipalities Act and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act , the Lieutenant-Governor in Council makes the following Order.

Short title

        1. This Order may be cited as the Town of Port au Port West - Aguathuna - Felix Cove Order .

        2. The boundaries of the Town of Port au Port West - Aguathuna - Felix Cove are as set out in the Schedule.

Repeal

        3. Newfoundland Regulation 763/78 is repealed.

Schedule

Beginning at the most easterly point in the northeast angle of Gravel's Pond;

Then running west along the northern limit of the main highroad crossing the beach to a point in the northeast shoreline of the Port au Port Peninsula located due north a distance of 60 metres, more or less, of the junction point of the main roads leading to Aguathuna and West Gravels;

Then running in a generally westerly direction along the sinuosities of the northern shoreline of the Port au Port Peninsula to a point at the mouth of Jack-of-Clubs Brook;

Then running south 40° west a distance of 5,325 metres, more or less, to a point on the southern shoreline of the Port au Port Peninsula;

Then running in a generally northeasterly direction along the sinuosities of the shoreline to a point in the northern shoreline of Isthmus Bay, that point being the southwest boundary corner of the Community of Port au Port East;

Then running north a distance of 60 metres, more or less, on the southern shoreline of Gravel's Pond;

Then running along the shoreline in a generally northeasterly direction to the point of beginning.

All bearings being referred to the true meridian.
