Under the authority of section 257 of the Municipalities Act and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act , the Lieutenant-Governor in Council makes the following Order.

Short title

        1. This Order may be cited as the Town of Raleigh Order .

        2. The boundaries of the Town of Raleigh are as set out in the Schedule.

Repeal

        3. Newfoundland Regulations 792/78 and 30/89 are repealed.

Schedule

Beginning at a point, that point being on the eastern highwater shoreline of Ha Ha Bay and having a grid reference of 891135;

Then south 24° east a distance of 400 metres, more or less, to the summit of Ha Ha Mountain;

Then due east a distance of 900 metres, more or less, to a point on the eastern bank of Tom Eddison's Brook where the brook flows under Route 437;

Then in a generally southeasterly direction along the eastern bank of the brook to a point where the brook flows out of an unnamed pond;

Then in a southerly direction along the western shoreline of the pond to a point on the northern bank of an unnamed brook where the brook flows out of the pond;

Then along the northern bank of the brook in a southwesterly direction to a point where the brook flows into Pistolet Bay at Carpon Cove;

Then in a generally northeasterly and northwesterly direction along the highwater shoreline of Pistolet Bay and passing Isthmus Cove, Isthmus Point, Falaise Point, Whale Cave and Burnt Cape;

Then in a generally southwesterly and northwesterly direction along the highwater shoreline of Ha Ha Bay passing Piton Point to the point of commencement.

All bearings refer to grid north and as with distances given are subject to approximation.
