Under the authority of section 257 of the Municipalities Act and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act , the Lieutenant-Governor in Council makes the following Order.

Short title

        1. This Order may be cited as the Town of Red Harbour Order .

        2. The boundaries of the Town of Red Harbour are as set out in the Schedule.

Repeal

        3. Newfoundland Regulations 794/78 and 178/93 are repealed.

Schedule

Beginning at a point at highwater mark of the southwesternmost extremity of Red Harbour Head;

Then in a generally northeasterly direction a distance of 2,600 metres, more or less, to the height of land;

Then in a generally northwesterly direction a distance of 1,000 metres, more or less, to where an unnamed stream crosses under the old Burin Peninsula Highway;

Then in a generally northwesterly direction a distance of 850 metres, more or less, to the height of land;

Then in a generally southwesterly direction a distance of 1,400 metres, more or less, to where an unnamed stream meets the eastern reservation of Route 210;

Then in a generally southwesterly direction following the eastern reservation of Route 210 a distance of 2,900 metres, more or less, to where an unnamed stream meets that reservation;

Then in a generally southerly direction following the centre tread of the unnamed stream a distance of 50 metres, more or less, to the northern extremity of an unnamed pond;

Then in a generally southeasterly direction a distance of 850 metres, more or less, to the height of land;

Then in a generally southeasterly direction a distance of 1,800 metres, more or less, to where an unnamed stream enters Placentia Bay;

Then in a generally northeasterly direction following the sinuosities of the shoreline of Placentia Bay and Red Harbour to Red Harbour Head, the point of beginning.

All directions being referred to grid north and as with distances and directions given are subject to approximation as delineated on the 1:50,000 National Topographic Mapping.
