Town of Robert 's Arm Order
under the
Municipalities Act
(O.C. 96-170)

Under the authority of section 3 of the Municipalities Act and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act , the Lieutenant-Governor in Council makes the following Order.

Short title

        1. This Order may be cited as the Town of Robert's Arm Order .

        2. The boundaries of the Town of Robert 's Arm are as set out in the Schedule.

Repeal

        3. Newfoundland Regulation 789/78 is repealed.

Schedule

Beginning at the most western point in the shoreline of Bear Cove and then running north 48° west a distance of 1,575 metres, more or less;

Then running north 72° west a distance of 1,100 metres, more or less;

Then running south 55° west a distance of 5,800 metres, more or less;

Then running south a distance of 2,675 metres, more or less, to a point in the mouth of Island Pond Brook where it empties into Crescent Lake;

Then running in a generally southeasterly direction along the southern shoreline of Crescent Lake to a point in the mouth of First Pond Brook;

Then running east a distance of 8,075 metres, more or less, to a point in the western shoreline of Sops Arm;

Then running in a generally northeasterly direction along the western shoreline of Sops Arm to the most northern point of Sops Head;

Then running north 29° west a distance of 2,500 metres, more or less, to a point in the southeast angle of Measles Cove;

Then running in a generally westerly direction along the sinuosities of the shoreline to the most western point of the southern entrance to Hammer Cove;

Then running along the sinuosities of the shorelines of the harbour of Robert 's Arm to the point of beginning.

All bearings being referred to the true meridian.
