Town of
Salmon
Cove Order
under the
Municipalities Act
(O.C. 96-170)
Under the authority of section 3 of the Municipalities Act
and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act
, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council makes the following Order.
ORDER

Short title
1.
This Order may be cited as the Town of Salmon Cove Order

The boundaries of the Town of
Salmon Cove
are as set out in the Schedule.

Repeal
3.
Newfoundland
Regulation 811/78 is repealed.

Schedule
Beginning at the most eastern point in Salmon Cove Head and running south 64° west 3,150 metres, more or less;
Then running north 425 metres, more or less, to the eastern end of Forest Pond;
Then running in a generally westerly direction along the northern shoreline of Forest Pond to land owned by
Persalvic
Regional
High School
;
Then following the eastern boundary of land owned by the
Persalvic
High School
to the highway to Salmon Cove;
Then running northward 450 metres, more or less, to the centre line of the abandoned railroad right-of-way;
Then following the centre line of the railway to a point 525 metres, more or less, from Crown Lands Surveys monument No. 7-62;
Then running north 84° east to monument No. 7-62 and continuing north 84° east 965 metres, more or less, to Crown Lands Surveys monument No. 8-62 and continuing north 84° east 295 metres, more or less, to the northeastern coastline of Salmon Cove;
Then following the Salmon Cove coastline at highwater mark to Salmon Cove Head at the point of beginning.
All bearings being referred to the true meridian.
