Blackhead - Broad Cove Order

Under the authority of section 3 of the Municipalities Act and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act , the Lieutenant-Governor in Council makes the following Order.

Short title

        1. This Order may be cited as the Town of Small Point - Adam's Cove - Blackhead - Broad Cove Order .

        2. The boundaries of the Town of Small Point - Adam's Cove - Blackhead - Broad Cove are as set out in the Schedule.

Repeal

        3. Newfoundland Regulation 169/94 is repealed.

Schedule

Beginning at a point in the western shoreline of Conception Bay at Rose's Cliff northeast of the community of Adam's Cove;

Then running north 80° west 3,300 metres, more or less;

Then running south 57° west 7,200 metres, more or less, to a horizontal control point;

Then running south 74° east 2,300 metres, more or less, to Grove Pond Brook;

Then following the centre line of Grove Pond Brook to Broad Cove Pond;

Then following the southern shoreline of Broad Cove Pond to Tommy LeGrow's Brook;

Then following the centre line of Tommy LeGrow's Brook to Tommy LeGrow's Pond;

Then following the western shoreline of the pond to the mouth of a small brook which flows into Tommy LeGrow's Pond;

Then running south 87° east 1,700 metres, more or less, to a point in the centre line of the Conception Bay North main highway;

Then running south 55° east 600 metres, more or less, to the western shoreline of Conception Bay;

Then running in a generally northeasterly direction along the shoreline to the point of beginning.

All bearings being referred to the true meridian.
